  17. <p>     Former hostage Terry Anderson has taken his family to a
  18. Caribbean island for four months of beachcombing. His
  19. comrade-in-chains Tom Sutherland chose a different path and
  20. plunged into a lucrative round of lectures and public
  21. appearances. Some psychologists with experience in debriefing
  22. former hostages are concerned that Sutherland, who twice
  23. attempted suicide while in captivity, has not allowed himself
  24. enough time to recover from his ordeal. But the former
  25. university professor seems to relish the limelight, particularly
  26. the standing ovations.
